I hang some of the laundry to dry around the house so that the Gain Island Fresh Liquid Fabric softener smell makes everything smell fresh and wonderful. My kids love when they have a fresh damp sheet hanging over their bedroom door. They sniff it every time they walk by and can't wait to snuggle up with it at bedtime. Yay Time to do more laundry
I am VERY picky about what I use to wash clothes. I like the freshness to last weeks after wash. I perfer to use liquid fabric softner with every load, because the fresh smell seems to last longer then using a dryer sheet Sofar Apple Mango Tango, is the only liquid softner I have tried from gain, I plan on buying the Gain With Fabreeze freshness next

I love original Gain, have used it for years. Detergent, fabric softner and dryer sheets all together makes for absolute happiness and joy. I add too much fabric softner, can't help it. I don't trust the auto dispenser; I know it works but... I still run down the basement stairs and try to make the rinse cycle to pour in more. If I miss it, I just hit the 2nd rinse cycle button. My mother-in-law used to work at the local laundryma t(worked their for years) and she always said to put extra softner in the rinse cycle and it will help rid any excess detergent; if one puts in too much of that also. So from a pro (Mom) too much is never too much.
