No scent

I just bought a 155 load bottle of Lavender liquid detergent. Once I finished my laundry there wasn't even a faint scent of lavender on my clothes. I even used a cup and half to get more of a scent, though it's advertised I should be able to use less. Do I have to purchase lavender dryer sheets also for my clothing to retain the lavender scent. I made sure I didn't use my old fabric softner (another brand) to ensure I wouldn't have that problem. Does anyone have any recommendations? I feel now that I wasted a lot of money.

Dish Detergent that smells tantalizing

I couldn't select dishwashing liquid above because it wasn't available on the product type so Gain needs to get this worked out What I'd like to say is that I don't know whether this fragrance really smells like Lavender, but it reminds me of a wonderful men's cologne Since I'm a single gal, it's pretty nice to wash dishes to that fragrance Have had the orange Gain dish detergent but didn't even smell the fragrance at all...but THIS WOW Since I'm not dating any guy at the present time, at least I have the fragrance of Gain to remind me of what a man should smell like ha ha
